An intricately detailed, personal story behind the 2014 Referendum for Scottish Independence. Through close observation of the director’s father, we witness the complex heart of a grass-root-movement as Councillor and activist Fraser McAllister tries hard to please clashing factions of the YES movement, a hostile local council, and his increasingly resentful wife; before finally turning renegade and ignoring them all.
